Meet Dr. Eilise O’Connor, DDS, a multi-talented individual whose journey has taken her from the vibrant streets of San Francisco to the prestigious courts of collegiate basketball and the precise world of dentistry.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Dr. O’Connor developed a strong sense of community and determination early on. She attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory, where her dedication to both academics and athletics shone through. She graduated with above a 4.0 GPA, was involved with the national society of high school scholars and was the unanimous WCAL Player of the Year for Girls’ basketball and the Brophy Award winner for St. Ignatius.

Her exceptional skills on the basketball court didn’t go unnoticed. Dr. O’Connor earned a scholarship to play basketball at the esteemed University of Missouri Kansas City. During her time there, she showcased not only her athletic abilities, but also her commitment to excellence. Graduating as an Academic All-American, she set the stage for her future endeavors.

Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. O’Connor was presented with another opportunity, this time in the field of dentistry. She was offered a scholarship to attend the UMKC School of Dentistry, where she completed advanced studies in Periodontics as well as advanced studies in Endodontics. Dr. O’Connor excelled and was inducted into the national OKU Honor Society for dental students in the top 10% of their class.

After obtaining her dental degree, Dr. O’Connor accepted an incredible opportunity to run a private practice, where she honed her skills and provided top-notch dental care to her patients for 3.5 years. Although very successful in Kansas City, Missouri, she made the decision to move home in February 2022, to be closer to her family.

Meeting Dr. Roni was an incredible opportunity, as both doctors recognized the need for new beginnings. In March 2022, Dr. Eilise assumed full leadership of the practice, endorsed wholeheartedly by Dr. Roni and the Love Your Smile team– if interested you can read Dr. Roni’s farewell message here.

Dr. O’Connor continues to pursue her love for the game as the starting point guard for the Olympic Club Women’s National Team. Additionally, she gives back to her alma mater as the assistant coach for St. Ignatius, inspiring the next generation of athletes. She is also an active member of the Marin Dental Society, and California Dental Association where she continues to grow professionally.

Beyond her professional and athletic pursuits, Dr. O’Connor finds joy in the simple moments spent with her family and her two loyal companions, Finn and Nash.
